Carnivorous Dinosaurs
Hi!
I'm hungry.
I want meat.
Ow ow ow......
Herbivorous Dinosaurs
Hello!
I'm so nice.
I eat plants.
The first activity is a role play game.
Before changing into a dinosaur, let's see how they look like by:
-
Observe the pictures of various herbivorous & carnivorous dinosaurs below.
-
Read the descriptions of these dinosaurs on each picture.
Now, you may come up with some ideas on the features of a plant-eating & a meat-eating dinosaur.
Then, the role play game starts!
Imaging you were a plant-eating dinosaur, what characteristics should you have to get food and to avoid being eaten?
Imaging you were a meat-eating dinosaur, what features should we have to prey on other animals?
Work in group to brainstorm the features of a plant-eating and a meat-eating dinosaur with a mind map.
Be sure that the dinosaur you acts as can obtain food and survive.
Do not forget to Post your group work in the Discussion Forum!

Tips: Focus on the common features of each type essential for predation.
